WOW... I LOVE IT!!! Stan sounds ABSOLUTELY AMAZING as always and his phrasing is such a delight for the senses here!!! I have never heard anyone do the things he does with a sax, but then no one else had the heart he had for it I guess. And I love Milt Jackson but have never seen him play piano... what a treat! xx

The way Stan dance's around the melody yet stay's within the structure of the song still just blows me away!!This is why I always LOVED all of work I sure.....His Heart for the MUSIC was endless.....

Dear Bev,

Thank you so much for adding this great video ! I like this tune too much !
YOU MUST see the French movie with Dexter GORDON, this movie was made by Bertrand TAVERNIER and count us the "JAZZ Spirit"...there's a part of your father in this "GREAT FILM"...there are movies, we must see, it is like a "Jazz Standart" !

I add a picture of the movie "Round About Midnight - 1986-The movie"...please forget my bad translation for the tittle in english, it is not "Around midnight" but "Round about Midnight", SORRY !
You can see this movie on "YOU TUBE" !
I agree with all of you: STAN is AMAZING playing this tune, I've never heard this version before, it is so "sweety, cool, loving..." in fact this version is the most generous, I've ever heard !
