J'ai été très heureux d'écouter ici le fameux "LET's FALL IN LOVE" :)
Ce morceau fait partie de l'une des plus fantastiques sessions d'enregistrement pour un LP (1958-Verve).
Il faut remercier feu Norman GRANZ d'avoir réunis sur cet LP : Gerry MULLIGAN et Stan GETZ .
Car l'originalité de ce disque réside dans le fait que, sur une suggestion de Gerry Mulligan d'échanger leur instruments, on retrouve Stan GETZ au Baryton Sax et Gerry Mulligan au Ténor Sax sur tous les morceau de la face 1 !
Cette face 1 du LP est donc très attractive et reprend en premier le "LET's FALL IN LOVE" , puis "ANYTHING GOES" et "TOO CLOSE FOR CONFORT" .
Pour la face 2, Stan Getz reprend son Tenor Sax et Gerry Mulligan son Baryton avec "THAT OLD FEELING", THIS CAN'T BE LOVE" et "BALLAD" .
Pour moi, c'est un des plus beau disque enregisté par Stan GETZ, car il est très riche musicalement parlant .
