About me:: I am a closet Jazz enthusiast. I play tenor for fun and sometimes for friends and family events. I have about 600 Aebersol recordings I use to unwind after a stressful day and pattern my playing mostly after Stan Getz. I have similar tone and play with what I think is a lot of emotion.

I am a college professor and an ESL textbook author which leaves me little time to participate in forums like this, but when I found you, I couldn't resist. As my children get married off and after I finish the last writing project I am on, I hope to have more time to play. I want to build a recording studio in my home and play a lot. Right now I have just a room with no equipment except a nice speaker and my recordings. I do feel like I play well and would love to participate in events if you have them and if I can find time.
