Stan Getz-Autumn Leaves
The original version is a 1945 French song called the "Dead Leaves" with music written by Joseph Kosma and French lyrics by Jacque Prevert. Johnny Mercer wrote the English lyrics in 1947.
It's been done by so many different artists including Nat King Cole, Jo Stafford and Edith Piaf, but Getz' version is one of the better known.
I also like the famous rendition of Miles Davis.
