Remembering Stan...
Dear Old Stockholm on Tenor Sax by Matthew STONE
A bit rough in places, but for especially for Mary, the pianist in our quartet, as we are playing this tune....This intro works quite well. The tune is interesting, a Swedish folk song (Ack Värmeland, Du Sköna). It has been played many different ways, a great version is here on youtube by Stan Getz and Chet Baker.

I ask Matthew Stone to join us in "Stan Getz Community" web site, I saw many of his videos on "YOU TUBE" and I like his way of playing, I try to use his videos to learn playing my soprano sax...and it works ...not sometimes for my neighbourgs !!!
So, I hope he could come in the site may be to have him ,playing on the French Riviera in summer 2010!
