About me:: Single male, 54, degree educated, Administrator and student Archaeologist, lover of jazz in most genres, particularly latin rythms, student of the sax (up to 2 yrs ago that is) etc etc.
There is one thing I will always regret in my life and that is never seeing the 'Master', the 'Sound', 'Mr Cool' live..or even speak to him...but his music continues to have a profound affect on my life whenever I play or hear it played for sure.

Yes, have read the book, what a fraught and off-times turbulent life, (as it was for most musicians at this time), but also what a musical legacy he left us, often imitated but never matched.
The 'Sound' lives on.
