- Jazz sax player..reed player. played w/Jackie MaClean, Bill Baron,Artie Shaw Band/ w Dick Johnson, Ronnie Ball. Stan would come to the Ct area when I was much younger (the 60's) and he would invite my late older brother(who played sax, ( USAF Airmen of Note and the Diplomats) and Stan was his hero) to come down to whatever venue he was at and they would play together backstage before and after the show.
