- About me:
- Alto, Tenor Sax player. First had clarinet lessons when I was seven with Marshall Royal when he led the Navy Band at St.Mary's PreFlight Training Center in World War II. Then after playing with College of San Mateo Jazz Band under the direction of Bud Young - transfered to S.F.State University an played in Concert Band directed by Edmund Kruth. Studied with Jerry Coker who had left Woody Herman band and settled in Oakland, California.
