- About me:
- Long time, ardent fan of Stan Getz. First saw him live at Carter-Baron Amphitheater in 1963. Was thrilled to be able to speak with him briefly after the concert. Began listening to his marvelous artistry in the late '50's as a kid. Played tenor and was influenced more by Stan's playing than any other artist. Continue to play and continue to marvel at Stan's beauty. Thank goodness for the recordings and for this community.
