- Cannot imagine not having music to listen to, especially the kind that Stan Getz made over the years. A few years ago I started listening to his music and became addicted to it. I only wish that I had known him sooner, maybe even met him. What it would be like to "pick his brain" about all the people he has played with. I am a firm believer that God did need to choose some other instrument, because Stan Getz was pure "perfection." The angels in Heaven I'm sure are enjoying him.
