About me:
I've been a Stan Getz fan since I first heard "Getz /Gilberto" in 1964. It was a mind-altering experience. ( I used to play trumpet and am also an Al Hirt fan. ) To me Getz and Brubeck are the Gods of modern jazz who transcend the years and fads. Believe it or not I just discovered the great Getz videos on You Tute which led me to this site.
