To answer your questions Denis: no to the first, yes, for sure, to the second. I listened to one of the 5 discs I have of that tour this morning. They were really loose and spontaneous on that trip. McNeely who is not in the photo was great as well. It's the rhythm section I'd want for myself in mt next dream.
