Remembering Stan...

kind of blue 1

Sketch of my last painting...for that job, I am trying to translate my feelings when I am hearing the Mile's Davis album called "Kind of Blue"...you can see inside the earth (like a birth!) Coltrane playing soprano sax and Miles playing trumpet, Bill evans is playing piano, Cannomball Adderley (alto sax) ...it is not finished yet...If someone has an idea to finished this painting, your help will be interesting! Thanks! I am always painting with the music which gives me the idea...with "Kind of Blue"...you can see on this picture what I'm thinking about when I am hearing this beautiful album...is this normal, Doctor??? Waouhh, sometimes, I'm a bit crazy no???

You should not question your inspiration and continue. I met Miles when i was 13 years old and those days you could go into Birdland and sit in a section to hear the music and drink soft drinks. I saw the group that was on the Kind Of Blue album live !!

You give me a nice compliment ! I like to much Miles Davis, I find this album "Kind of Blue" totally incredible, it seems to me like "the birth of the hearth" !
You were very lucky to see Miles and to know Stan Getz! What a great carreer you've got !
