It's so nice to hear about Stan from people who actually spent time with him! That he really inspired the people who worked with him and that they knew he was special even so early in his career. And... I especially love the comment at the end about seeing his gratitude in 'those blue eyes' of his. They must have been very special indeed for the way he mentions them.... the windows to the soul.
