Remembering Stan...

Autumn Leaves for Stan Getz Community

Here is a small video taken with my camera. It is about my first try(essay) to learn the improvisation. I have no professor, I learn only by myself and that is obvious ! ( As you can see). Lots of defects but I like playing the sax!

One day, I shall like making a "jam-session" with members and musicians of the " Stan Getz Community ". I specify that I raise my fingers a lot because I had four tendons cut at my left hand four years ago during an accident in military service. (Duty)

I hope that you will like this essay. Please, do not hesitate to give me advice! Gérard

Thank you very much for your kind mail ! I appreciate it a lot!
I know I am not a real musician, but I will try to improve myself to play better!
I love Jazz & Blues, so, normally I think I could play music better than now. My soprano sax is not a Selmer, it is a "cheap one" but it sounds good for a first price!

By the way, I did not forget you at all, I've started to paint your portrait and I think it is quite good, I will take a picture to add it on this web site, when I will finish this painting!
