Trying to find a film that Stan was a part of....(in some way?)

On the Getz Album "Reflections" ...under the picture of Stan is a caption:
Photo taken while on set of the film "The Release"

I've searched high and low for and info on the film, (Google/Rotton tomatoes/IMDB) yet nobody has anything on the Film or even a clue as to where it is or was???

Any Ideas ?? Thanks Much!

    I have an album from many years ago titled "Mickey One" It was the soundtrack from the movie. I believe Warren Beatty was in it.

    The Reflections album jacket also states that the Reflections film was entered into the 1964 Cannes Film Festival, BTW.
