My father was born in France came here with his parents at some point in his life when he was young to Illinois. From France to Illinois?? hmmm I need to visit Illinois i recon and see what the attraction.
To be honest, I don't know too much about my father, but that he was a wonderful man, my moms first and only love. He was an Air Force pilot for a short time, and then he became a fireman . He passed at the age of 23, as a fireman trying to rescue someone from the raging waters. The newspaper article says they were moments from reaching him when he was swept down the river, later to be found in a weeping willow tree wrapped up and well...I believe my father is a hero. He had been begging for safety changes. Due to his death, everything he had wanted and begged for so something like this would not happen, was soon after implemented. Ok well geez you got not only my NAME...LOL BUT ALL that was tagged to the name.
