About me:: Hi I have been listening to Stan since 1961. I played Tenor Sax and clarinet in highschool and university-not a great player but learned enough to appreciate all kinds of music especially Jazz, big band, Folk and classical and now reagae, new age, opera, you name it but Stan and Paul Desmond own a special piece of my heart. I just discovered music on utube and am having a ball with old and new music-Lena Horn, Shirley Horn etc.etc. etc. You get the picture. I work in the health care field and involve myself in progressive politics trying to stay calm and un-depressed with the present situation facing us all. Stans music has helped me make it through many a night and day that seem interminable.
