Welcome to the new and improved SG forum!

Firstly, my sincere apologies to all of you who joined the vbulletin forum on Stan's web page. I hope you will all come and join us here! (By the way... if you are already a member of 'ning', you can simply use your existing login and password to sign in)

Stan's site is under new "creative management"! We found that vbulletin was just a tad 'dour'. This network allows for more interaction and freedom to be yourself. Add photos, music, videos, etc.

While the site was created to remember/discuss Stan, we openly invite and look forward to all discussions about music, musicians and the like. I only request that we still 'keep it clean"! Remember, there are kids out there that may want to participate.

Again, so sorry if this causes any inconvenience. But I do believe that you will all enjoy this new extension of Stan's web site!

I would still request that you all please sign in using your name and not a screen name so as to avoid 'spammers'. This will help the administrators and moderators greatly with their task and time!

Irving Bob Mesher, Stan's childhood friend

I received an email (below) from a lovely gentleman by the name of Irving Mesher. It seems Irving was a childhood friend of Stan’s and next door neighbor. I do have a very faint memory of hearing about a childhood buddy named "Irv". However, Mr. Mesher was known as "Bob" back then! Eva and I want to wish you a fun and safe 4th and we hope all the recent publicity Stella has received on Times Square hasn't gone to her big puppy head.lol As for us, we'll be home trying to convince our dog Annie that the world isn't coming to an end, and the fireworks will stop eventually. Yes, I think you are right about traveling communities. 4 is my fix. I can barely keep up with that number. ;) This, of course is Tops for me.
