- About me:
- Ramiro Valle was born, raised and educated in Colombia. His diverse studies range from the fine arts to industrial engineering. A published poet and accomplished musician, he draws upon his many talents to inform his unique visual language. Valle lives in Los Angeles, where he devotes himself to his career as a full-time visual artist.
Artist Statement
My artwork is a visual expression of poetry and music. I use my palette to create images that evoke emotion within the viewer, as do the carefully chosen words of a moving poem or the penetrating sounds of a soulful arrangement of musical notes. Freedom, rapture, passion, mystery, spirituality and identity are common themes that I address through the lens of my camera and on the surface of my canvas.
I label my genre "Geometric Romanticism", fusing together the normally separate worlds of Geometry and Romanticism, melding the familiar with the abstract, the mathematical with the fanciful, the measurable with the elusive. My subjects are surrounded and enveloped by ever-present challenges, hope, dreams, faith, sensuality and mystery symbolized by the embracing backdrop of abstract geometrical shapes. I would like the complex imagery in my art to act as a maze that entices the viewer to navigate, explore
and discover their own personal truth through their viewing journey.

¡ Gracias Ramiro por tu comentario en español, esto se me da el gusto de escribir español!Hace mucho tiempo que tengo escribe en español...me falta un poco de vocabulario...¡ Sino, soy sólo un aficionado en música y en pintura sino me gusta lo que hago porque lo hago con mucho gusto!

Thank you very much ! I appreciate ..but for the moment I haven't got any plans to visit Los Angeles, my son went in L.A last year and he told me that's it is nice...I hope one day I could go there!
If you listen to my first try in Improvisation, please let me know what you are thinking about this essay, because I want to improve my sax technic and I'm only a beginner for that! Thanks to show us your paintings because I love this kind of painting ...by the way, My name is also "Colombian" ...My grand-father was having a brother who was going in Colombia around 1930 and his family is still living in this country!
I'm also speak spanish!!
