A little something about myself. I am an ex-fashion designer (NYC). I am-the author of "Mitchell's Journey." from-"The Healing Touch of Horses," Dawn Prince-Hughes. I am-the mother of two beautiful angels in heaven. I am the mother of two beautiful boys (both diagnosed with high functioning autism-Aspergers). I am a kidney donor (I donated my right kidney to my eldest son). I am the taxi to piano, violin, orchestra, art class, Chinese school, French afters and horseback riding. Whew! I am the wife of a kind, funny, wonderful man who survived 911 (WTC 82nd floor tower 2). I am blessed.
Oh! No... I hope the allergies are a little better for you today Lezah. So hard to deal with. And so many people are suffering with them this year. )-:
I somehow missed seeing your comment about Mitchell's horse show! I would def come, but I'll be away. But you must let me know when the next one is! I'd love to see him ride!
"Oh the Places You'll Go"... My mom gave me that book when I graduated college. Little did she know I would be "going" back home for about 6 months to figure out what to do with my life and how to start it ;-) How's that for talking too much, LOL! Not possible with the doll!
You'll be on your way up!

Hi Lezah!
Thanks for add me as a new friend and thanks for your beautiful and kind words.
I hope Mitchell enjoy learn Jazz and I wish to hear him playing soon .
Best wishes to you and your beautiful family.
Ah! Wonderful profile pic!
Peace
Thanks friend! Blessings and peace to your family. Yes, I would love to hear Mitchell play some jazz piano too. He has only played a few jazz pieces. He mostly plays classical. That's Mitchell in the photo with me. He is 12 years old now! :) He also plays the violin . Do any of your children share your talent and love for music? Hugs, L.
Hello Lezah, I've admired your cool "kiss" photo since the first time I saw it. I was on Lou & Eva's page signing up to be their friend and I noticed your post about losing your friend Marie to cancer. I just wanted to tell you that I'm thinking of you & Marie and saying a prayer that we'll all see the ones we've loved and lost - with no more goodbyes.
Blessings to you Hazel backwards.
p.s. My new license plates are HZL and "Hazel" is easy to remember :o) Funny how things connect in ways we never imagine.
Hello Lezah:) I have some breathing time to travel around the net today and am enjoying it thoroughly. To much with the nose in the book syndrome is unhealthy..lol;) I love your pic here. I have seen it a few times and thought, "wow, seems like yesterday." My kiddos are 20 23 and 26, so I have an empty nest except for my forever a babdy shih tzu and 2 kitties.
It is beautiful see pics like this of people enjoying their children. Many blessings to you.
Hello Joan,
I'm glad you time stop by. I must jazz the place up with some videos or something. That little man in my photo is my son Mitchell. He was 4 years old then. He is now 12 years old!!! I can hardly believe it! Where does the time go? This photo is one of my favorites. I took the photo, by holding the camera far away, and hoping for the best, I just clicked. I have a 3 year old also. His name is Mason. I love them both to bits. :) They both have Aspergers Autism, but that doesn't seem to hinder them from enjoying life. It is nice to meet someone who values life and children. What is you Shih tzu name? I had a Shih tzu growing up. He was so afraid of the firework on the 4th of July. I have a French bulldog now. Her name is Priscilla. She is a sweetheart. My shadow. :) Nice to meet you Joan. Have a wonderful week. Hugs, L.
Thank you Lezah:) Yes, time does fly when you enjoy your children..I was going to say kids, but I was going to put my children on a Merry Go round one time, and when I sad "My kids and me..." The "carni," who was ancient as Methuselah,...lol..well he put me in my place by telling me "baby goats are kids...these are children!" OUCH! Ok gahly haaaa NEVER have forgotten that;) My Children are 26, 24, and 20...so CUPID:) is the shih Tzu, was a gift from my kids for the "empty nest syndrome." lol Welll...my nest runneth over now! hahaha YES The "shadow syndrome" on his part has almost got him trampled a few times..poor short legged baby.
You have a wonderful week and thank you for your friendship. It IS great to meet people who adore their children and life...very refreshing to the heart:))
I find some of those are the best photos ever taken because you are "in the moment," and not statuesque in a pose.
Grea tthat they have a loving mom like you:)) I used to at a State School for the elderly mentally or physically im paired or challenged. I found the autistic mind to be facinating...very rewarding job that was although the night shift was an exhausting one:)
So happy to see you here again! I had a wonderful Summer! Much time like Mitchell... slingin poo... hehe!
I'm so happy to hear he loves horses and can put his energy into something so beautiful! I read that he has a from of autism... My aunt had Williams Syndrome among other things and her love was food ;-) She was the most beautiful person I've ever known! All the best to all of you and I hope you have a beautiful beginning to the Fall there! "Talk" to you again soon ;-)
XOXO
