I feel too honored in receiving such a positive comment on my samba from such a superb player/composer/arranger . You sound wonderful- I especially like Cubango. I remember some guest musicians from Brazil at the University of Louisville School of Music who listened to a recording of American cats playing a samba and one said to the other, "wow man, that feels like sh**!" ;-)

Jota, I had to come back and hear your music again! Your playing and production are so polished, really hip - beautiful. I love it, man! Cubango is really groovin'. You must compose too, yes? I hope to learn more about your musical life and the projects you're currently working on. It would be so cool to do some music together someday, I could learn a lot from you.
